'Twas a month before Christmas and all through the house
not a creaturewas stirring except me and my mouse.
My gift list was hung on the monitor with care, where my screensaver of St. Nicholas made him virtually there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
while visions of "Pillow Buddies"; danced in their heads; Mama was dreaming of her new Calvin Kleins,
I was surfing the net to shop Macy's online.

macys.com I typed in a flash
then bookmarked the spot so I could go back in a dash.
When inside my hard drive there arose such a clatter,
I downloaded their web page to see what was the matter.

The colors were brilliant and the pixels did glow,
it gave the luster of the holidays to their website below.
I clicked on their home page and what should appear,
but bright ideas from afar yet so near.

More rapid than a Pentium, suggestions they came,
there were fashions by designers, you know them by name: Emporio Armani! Joe Boxer and Guess!
Ralph Lauren and Polo, Kenneth Cole and 9 West!

I bought crystal and backpacks and Calphalon cookware, chocolates and slippers and a cute talking bear.
From a ballpoint by Mountblanc to imported silk ties...
at macys.com there is plenty to buy.

As I finished my list, I heard a new sound;
an e-mail from St Nicholas came in with a bound.
His message was touting the best of the web,
I smiled when I saw it, here's what it said:

If you're looking for a fun e-commerce place to shop
check out macys.com it's where my elves surf a lot.
You'll find gifts of all kinds, gifts of all styles,
and frequent flyers like me can shop there and get miles.

Anyone, anywhere from the North Pole to Atlanta
can buy special gifts, even cookies for Santa.
Then his message disappeared, it was gone in a blink,
and all that was left was his smile and a ;-)

But I heard heard him exclaim with his last megabyte,
Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good site!
